Who knew that Vikrant Massey who started with catalog shoots would become one of the most liked and demanding actors in the future? From playing the hero’s best friend to being considered as the lead, Vikrant has had his own fair share of struggles and a journey that he relishes.

Vikrant is on roll as he recently appeared in the Netflix film Haseen Dillruba, and now, the viewers can see him in 14 Phere, which is streaming on ZEE5. In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, he was asked to share a major lie that he has told in life.

Well, the thing he revealed about dating life is something we can relate to and we have been through that phase. Wondering what the lie was about? He said, "I've told so many lies. I told my friends I was dating this pretty girl who didn't give me a second glance. There were a couple of girls in school, a couple in college; they didn't care about me, but I created a fantasy in my head. I'd boast to my friends.”

Asked if he was ever caught, Vikrant continued, "One of them found out that I was spreading rumours, and she confronted me also... I look okay now... But back then it was all about looks and clothes, and I was unattractive, absolutely unattractive."

Coming to his love life, the actor is engaged to actor Sheetal Thakur. Vikrant and Sheetal, who featured together in the first season of ALTBalaji’s web series Broken But Beautiful, got engaged in the presence of close friends and family members in a private Roka ceremony in November 2019.

Talking to TOI, he had earlier said, “Agar lockdown nahi hota toh meri shaadi ho chuki hoti (If it were not for the lockdown, I would have been married by now). That’s one thing that pushed me back by a few months. I was supposed to get married to Sheetal last year, but the good thing is that I have this year to look forward to now.”

We are waiting for the official announcement by the actor for his marriage date.
