3 Reasons Why We Think Aparshakti & Abhishek Banerjee’s ‘Helmet’ Will Be A Masterpiece
Starring Aparshakti Khurana, Pranutan Bahl, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Verma, and Sharib Hashmi, the trailer of ZEE5’s upcoming film Helmet is out. If you have seen the trailer, you would agree with us when we say that it surely is going to be a hit. Directed by Satramm Ramani, the quirky comedy has been produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and actor Dino Morea's production house, DM Movies.
Helmet marks the directorial debut of Ramani, and Rohan Shankar, who previously wrote Luka Chuppi, which also starred Khurana in an important role, will serve as the writer. “I had a great time shooting for Helmet. The cast and the crew became more than a family," Khurana had said earlier in a statement.
We think that movie has the potential to give many more movies that were released this year a tough competition.
Here’s why we think the movie will be a hit:
Something Unique And Not A Stale IdeaBuying condoms can be tricky for men and there are many men who have faced this issue in the past. It’s no news that it's a taboo and with Helmet, the makers have probably struck just the right chord.
Aparshakti’s character Lucky goes to a shop to buy a condom but feels shy to ask for it as many men around him are giving him a judgemental look. The twist in the story comes when he meets his friends Sultan played by Abhishek and Minus played by Ashish Verma, and they all decide to steal mobile phones from an e-commerce shipping company.
Instead of finding mobile phones, they land up with cartons filled with condoms. Well, it will be a challenging task for these three men to sell them and in the trailer, we all also get to see how men react when asked about condoms.
