Sara Ali Khan Makes A Case For ‘Sarv Dharm Sambhav’, Visits 4 Different Places Of Worship

Sara Ali Khan has been raised in a secular home. Her father Saif Ali Khan is a Muslim, her mother Amrita Singh is half-Sikh and half-Muslim (she converted to Islam upon marriage to Saif) and her grandmother was a Hindu before marriage.

Religion has definitely played a part in her upbringing and it shows.

She believes in practising every religion and celebrates all festivals with equal zeal. Her Instagram photos are filled with her visiting Vaishno Devi, celebrating Christmas, reading namaz and praying at a gurudwara.

She is one of the few celebrities who makes a strong case for what secularism truly stands for.

The actress is currently on a vacation in Kashmir and while her fans and followers were expecting some scenic views and pictures of her drinking kahwah or telling a knock-knock joke on the shikhara ride, they got something more beautiful and wholesome.

She posted some pictures from her Kashmir trip where she visited four different places of worship.

She shared pictures of her visiting a temple, a gurdwara, posing in front of a church and tying the mannat ka dhaga in a mosque.
