With theatres finally seeing the light of the day and reopening soon, the world of cinema-goers and moviemakers has found a new lease of life. 

A lot of big movies which were in the pipeline will finally get a theatrical release and if all goes well, then your days of enjoying popcorn with over-priced soda in a movie hall are nearer than you anticipated. 

Here are the biggest movie clashes that we’ll witness in 2021 and 2022:

1. Sooryavanshi Vs Annatthe Vs Eternals 

Rohit Shetty’s cop drama starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles will clash with Marvels’ high octave offering. 

If this was not enough, then hold your horses as Rajinikanth's Annatthe is also releasing on Diwali. It’s going to be a crazy Diwali ‘dhamaka’ clash for viewers!

Christmas is going to be extra merry because Kapil Dev’s life story comes alive on the big screen with Ranveer Singh in the lead and it will clash with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. 

As a pre-Christmas offering, on 22nd December, Keanu Reeves’ Matrix, which is the fourth instalment in the series, will also hit the screens.

3. Ek Villain Returns Vs Lal Singh Chadha

Valentine's Week will be special with John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Arjun Kapoor’s thriller competing with Kareena and Aamir’s Laal Singh Chadha, which releases a few days later.

4. Heropanti Vs Thor: Love & Thunder

It’s a clash of the fighters when we get to see Tiger Shroff kick some up a storm with Tara Sutaria, which will clash at the box office with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. Christian Bale is the antagonist in this one. 

The movie is set to release on May 6th 2022.

Akshay Kumar’s big release for the year 2022 begins with this one which is a remake of South hit Veeram, and also stars Kriti Sanon. 

The movie releases on March 4th 2022 and will compete with Robert Pattinson’s Batman movie.

6. KGF Chapter 2 Vs Bhediya

The much-awaited Yash and Sanjay Dutt starrer magnum opus which was being delayed due to the pandemic will finally see a theatrical release on 14th April next year and will clash with Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon starrer horror-comedy.

7. Adipurush Vs Rakshabandhan 

Arguably one of the biggest clashes of 2022, Independence Day will witness Prabhas’ movie clash with Khiladi Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s film.
