The Taliban have captured Kabul after US forces withdrew from Afghanistan. Given the videos and news updates coming in from Afghanistan, people have been enraged, especially over how helpless Afghans are in Kabul. Bollywood celebrities have also been sharing their views and anger at the current situation.
Farhan Akhtar tweeted about the need for action to ‘help innocent Afghans’. He wrote, “The only thing the powers of the world need to talking about right now is how to help innocent Afghans. Not in days and time to come. NOW.”

After his tweet started to get traction, people started to troll Farhan, as he was against CAA. People even questioned why he didn’t speak up about Kashmiri Hindus when they were asked to leave their hometown and were murdered.

    Here are the reactions:

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Farhan was asked if trolls affect him and how he reacts when these trolls drag his family and start mudslinging. In response, he said, “I don’t think anybody would be happy with their family being attacked on any kind of platform for any reason. At the end of the day, if you have any issues with me, right or wrong, the issue should end with me. I don’t feel it has to pass on to anybody else. I am here for you to be able to talk to.” Farhan added, “Also, I do feel that if there is any criticism that has to come your way when it comes wrapped up in any kind of abuse, bigotry, or prejudice, how can you take that seriously?”

He continued, “At the end of the day, a person revealing how hateful they are, it shows me how ugly they are. It tells me very little about me but a lot about them.” Akhtar added, “If you want to have a conversation about something and discuss it and even maybe change my mind about something, I am more than happy for my thoughts to get changed if it's a respectable conversation. There’s a classic saying that ‘Never wrestle with a pig because you will get dirty but the pig loves it'(laughs) So that’s what it is.”
    Trolls, are you listening?

Every day, there are so many videos uploaded on social media platforms, and the one that stands out and is unique usually ends up becoming an overnight sensation. Not just known stars and influencers, but social media has become a space even for commoners, whose eye-catching videos often resonate with us. Remember Ranu Mondal, who sang Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai and then the famous 'Pawri' girl? Even they wouldn't have imagined garnering huge popularity overnight.

2021 also gave us 'Bachpan Ka Pyar' kid, whose song was turned into a hit number by Badshah. It looks like we have a new person on the block now. A ragpicker in Bengaluru was recently seen on the streets, impressing people with her English speaking skills. Identified as Cecilia Margaret Lawrence, her video has now created a buzz on the internet. An Instagram user named Shachina Heggar, took to Instagram to post her video.

Cecilia can be heard speaking English fluently, and she said that she lived in Japan for almost seven years, from 2007-14. However, amid the conversation, Cecilia is heard singing in her soulful voice.

Shachina also added, "She was collecting plastic and when I asked her she said she sweeps the church and collects and sells plastic for a living."

An Instagram page that goes by the name @ceciliaed_always has shared her pictures in flamboyant outfits, and she looks unrecognisable. Even the captions for these posts are quirky. For example, one of her quotes reads, "When life gives you tomatoes, make a nice peppery tomato rasam. Don't forget to lick your lips after."

The film Shershaah directed by Vishnu Varadhan released on Amazon Prime on 12th August.
The movie stars Siddharth Malhotra who is playing the role of real-life Kargil War hero, Captain Vikram Batra. The movie also stars Kiara Advani as his love interest.
Captain Vikram Batra died fighting in the 1999 Kargil war against Pakistan. Batra was posthumously awarded India’s highest military honor for wartime valour, the Param Vir Chakra.
    View this post on Instagram
The film also showcased highlights of Batra’s personal life and his love story with Dimple Cheema. And many reports in media also suggested that Dimple and Vikram Batra were engaged to be married after the soldier returns from war. However, in a recent interview, Vishal Batra, brother of Captain Vikram Batra clarified it.
He said, “Dimple and Vikram were not engaged. It hurts to read wrong reports in the media and I just hope that everyone who matters is reading this and does not do goof-ups in their write-ups hereafter. People who have written that she was his mangetar (fiancée) have just been silly.”
He also said, ahead of the release of the film a picture of Captain Batra and others had surfaced in the public domain. He said that the reports claimed that the woman with Captain Batra is Dimple Cheema and the picture is from their college days.
    View this post on Instagram
Vishal Batra clarified saying, “I must clarify here that the picture of Dimple too that has been floating in the media, where it is claimed in a group picture that she's standing beside my brother- is not the correct one. That girl is Sidharth's classmate and not Dimple.”
Vishal Batra was also asked if at any point after Captain Vikram Batra’s demise told Dimple Cheema that she should get married. To which Vishal responded saying, “Yes, I did. Even my parents told her.”

Vishal Batra also spoke about how he arranged a meeting between reel-life Dimple Cheema (Kiara Advani) and real-life Dimple Cheema. He said, “Kiara met Dimple one-on-one at her hotel. I think they chatted for 3-4 hours at least.”

India went on a surprise run in the second Test at Lord’s after wrapping up the entire England batting order for just 120 in the second innings and gave themselves a convincing 151-run victory. KL Rahul was given the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his magnificent 129-run knock to give his side a flying start on Day 1.
However, there was another person who helped Rahul and Team India achieve such a successful launch. It was his opening batting partner, Rohit Sharma, who was in command in the entire match for the first 43 overs of the game.
    View this post on Instagram
Striking 11 fours and 1 six during his time at the pitch in the first innings, Sharma amassed 83 runs, his highest overseas score in the longest format of the game so far with a strike rate of 57.24.
On the 43.4th delivery of the match however, it was England veteran James Anderson who snatched away Sharma’s dream of scoring the century when he ripped the stumps off on him, forcing him to go back to the pavilion shorthanded.
    View this post on Instagram
Sharma had moved forward to push the ball on the off side but ended up missing the ball completely as it escaped his bat and struck the bails off in an instant.
After the dismissal, Team India’s batting coach Vikram Rathour spoke about how the 34-year old flamboyant hitter needs to be a little more careful in his shot selection if he wishes to take his score to the triple digits.
    View this post on Instagram
“We will be having a talk of what happened and what they were thinking while playing that shot. As far as Rohit is concerned, he has made it clear that pull shot fetches him runs so he is going to play those shots and we will back him playing those shots," Rathour said at the virtual press conference.
"The only thing, he needs to be a little more selective, if he can have that conversation and we will have that conversation with him. Kohli, I do not think there was an issue, it was just a lapse of concentration. I do not think there is anything old coming back," he added.
    View this post on Instagram
During his time in the middle, the ‘Hitman’ didn’t shy away from playing some of his most glorious shots which is a bit unorthodox in red-ball cricket, wherein batsmen hope to play only grounded shots.
Ever since he assumed the role of the opening batsman for India, Sharma has spoken on numerous occasions about how playing aggressive cricket comes naturally to him and that if he went on to play passively, it would have an adverse effect on his performance.
    View this post on Instagram
So after the Men in Blue won the Lord’s match and took a 1-0 lead in the series, Sharma touched upon the disappointment of not getting his maiden overseas ton.
"I am a little disappointed not to get to that three-figure mark but again, I saw the replay probably 20 times and I couldn’t have done anything to that ball. What matters is the position the team is in because it’s not about individuals. Your personal records can take a backseat but this is a team sport. Anything you do and it helps the team, I am happy with it," Rohit said.

Indian Idol is one show that runs in most Indian houses. Every season brings us several talents as singers amaze us with their soulful voices. This season too introduced us to many brilliant singers.
The wait for the winner finally came to an end, though, on August 15th. Pawandeep Rajan, who hails from Uttarakhand, was announced as the winner of the show. Pitted against five other singers, including Arunita Kanjilal, Nihal Tauro, Mohd Danish, Sayli Kamble, and Shanmukha Priya, the singer took home the trophy along with Rs 25 lakh cash prize.

Pawandeep comes from a musical background as his father, Suresh Rajan, is also a Kaumani folk singer, and so is Rajan's sister, Jyotideep. For the unversed, she had also auditioned for the Voice India in 2019. Apart from that, she often shares her melodies on Instagram.

Friendships and working equations in Bollywood are some of the most fickle relationships ever known to man. It isn’t uncommon for the closest of collaborators to part ways unceremoniously, only to throw shade at each other several years later.
Previous collaborators Firoz Nadiadwala and Priyadarshan are two such individuals whose relationship has soured over the years. Having worked together on the cult 2000 hit comedy, Hera Pheri, Producer Firoz Nadiadwala had recently launched several accusations at veteran director Priyadarshan regarding his work ethic.

    via GIPHY
Allegedly, the southern director, affectionately called Priyan, had behaved unprofessionally during his time on set. If Firoz is to be believed, Priyan had left Hera Pheri incomplete, which led to the film being finished under stressful circumstances.

Nadiadwala said, “Priyan shot a three-hour 40 minutes long film. Usne copy hamare haath pakdadi, and he left. He was not there for the editing, background score, or for the final mix.”

    via GIPHY
The clearly aggrieved Firoz continued, “He was also not there for the dubbing, photo sessions, planning the publicity, or making the trailers. I sat for the edit with the late Neeraj Vora and the rest of the team. We cut down the film by one hour and 30 minutes. Today, when I look back, I am just thankful to Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Neeraj Vora, and Ahmed Khan (choreographer) because of whom we could complete the film.”
However, after years of maintaining silence on the topic, director Priyadarshan finally came out with his side of the story. In a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Priyan explains “I’ve nothing against anyone. The so-called incident happened 20 years back. Why are you talking about it now? And why should I say that I didn’t do this, or do that?”

    via GIPHY
On the issue of leaving an unfinished edit at the hands of the producer, Priyadarshan says,“How could I make a film as long as three hours and 40 minutes? It is a remake of a Malayalam film, and so, I knew what I was making. All these claims are false. The whole film was made in Chennai. It was mixed in my theatre. I completed the film and I gave the final copy to him.”
Priyadarshan does make sense, considering Hera Pheri itself is an almost scene for scene a remake of another Malayalam cult classic called Ramji Rao Speaking (1989).

    via GIPHY
Priyadarshan’s conscience is clear if his words are to be believed, “If I had such behaviour, I wouldn’t have been in the industry.” Considering he’s worked with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty  and Paresh Rawal on other projects ever since, he attempted to reason his innocence, “I’ve also worked with these actors after that movie. How can that be possible? I’m a small south Indian filmmaker, I don’t have any influence in Bollywood.”

    via GIPHY
Whatever said and done, we’re just glad that a hit like Hera Pheri got made in Hindi in the first place, even if its creators can’t get along anymore.

So much for adults behaving better than children. It doesn't look like this tu tu main main is gonna be ending any time soon.

Samsung announced two new foldable smartphones in the form of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 that will define the future of smartphones in the coming years. While foldable smartphones are still a contesting topic for technology enthusiasts, it will be the future of smartphones for the next decade. Samsung has gone all-in with its foldable smartphone lineup, putting almost every smartphone company on notice including Apple. Here’s why I believe foldable phones are going to be the future of smartphones in the coming years:
    It Will Be a 3-in-1 Device  © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
Foldable smartphones will let users use their devices in ways we haven’t been able to until now. Due to its expanding nature, foldable devices can be used as a phone, tablet and even a PC. We may no longer require three separate devices to use for different types of purposes. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 can be opened up to be used as a tablet if one wants to watch some content or give presentations in a meeting room. If one wants to use it as a computer, future foldable devices will probably let users attach a keyboard or mouse to the phones. This will essentially remove the need for owning a laptop, a tablet and a smartphone altogether.

It Will Power Other Consumer Tech Products © Reddit/svangen1
I can foresee foldable displays powering other consumer technology products such as televisions, portable gaming consoles and even military applications that we aren’t aware of. We’ve already seen rollable televisions from LG that is another form of a foldable display. Similarly, I can also see future handheld gaming consoles utilising the new display technology that could be something similar to the Gameboy Advance SP. There might be several other applications of a foldable display that we aren’t even aware of and I can’t wait to see what other companies come up with in the future.

    It’s Becoming Cheaper  © Samsung
Samsung has already demonstrated that foldable smartphones and devices can get cheaper if there is enough demand for them. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is the perfect example as Samsung has made the smartphone far more affordable than we ever thought it would be. In India, you can get the Galaxy Z Flip 3 for Rs 77,999 if you pre-order the device from Samsung. That’s cheaper than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Series and various other Android flagship phones.

It’s Cool and Exciting Smartphones have become boring because they all look the same. I remember a time when smartphones were unique looking and had exciting designs. However, smartphones today more or less look the same from the front and even at the back. I don’t remember the last time a smartphone genuinely excited me apart from Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones. In the past month, more people have asked me about Samsung’s foldable phones than any other device that has been launched this past year. Even if we compare the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, they both look vastly different from each other. Even the Motorola foldable Razr looks very different from Samsung’s current lineup.
    © Samsung
With foldable devices, companies now have an opportunity to come up with interesting designs and have enough legroom to make unique smartphones. For what it’s worth, foldable displays will encourage companies to explore different form factors that may just rekindle excitement amongst tech enthusiasts again.

If you were a 90s or early 2000s villain in a Bollywood movie, there'd be one person you'd never want to cross paths with. Sunny Freaking Deol!
    © Prime Video
Be it his onscreen character's intense expressions, anger management issues, or his 'Dhai kilo ka haath', everything was bad news for the bad guys in the films. Not only that, even Sunny's real-life persona would intimidate people with one example being him using his hands to tear off his own jeans during creative differences in Yash Chopra's Darr.

Well, it surely has been a while since we saw a lot of Sunny Deol in cinemas as he's kind of taken a sabbatical from films. However, what we cannot ever forget is his iconic courtroom scene in which he went on to say the "Tareekh Pe Tareekh" dialogue.

This particular dialogue has its own cult fan following with people making memes out of it even now. Well, it looks like fans may finally have more content to chew on as the iconic dialogue was recreated, by Sunny himself.
In a video released on his official Instagram handle, the actor could be seen trying to relive the scene from the film Damini. However, just like the last time, Sunny cannot keep his cool.
    Check this out!
    View this post on Instagram
A person could be seen sitting in front of Sunny and instructing him as to how the intensity of the dialogue needs to be raised. However, it is Sunny's dialogue, and after a few tries, Sunny lashes out, even tearing the script of the person in front of him in anger.
The actor could be seen referencing Rahul Dravid's CRED ad by asking, "Tune Mujhe Kya Samajh Rakha Hai? Indiranagar Ka Gunda Hu Mai?"
He storms away right after that. This was definitely Sunny's attempt at comedy in which he succeeded, however, I doubt anyone cannot take Sunny seriously even when he's just kidding.
Well, what we know for sure is, that after "Indiranagar Ka Gunda", we should definitely have Sunny's "Dhai kilo Ka Haath" video for the next Cred ad.

Anyone who has watched Shershaah, the biopic of Capt. Vikram Batra who fought in the 1999 Kargil War, would agree that Sidharth Malhotra has done a marvelous job in bringing the war hero to life on screen. We cannot imagine anyone else portraying the army legend ‘Shershaah’.

    © Dharma Productions
While he was the first choice of the producer Shabbir Boxwala, there were many who lined up to grab the role. He was also approached by Salman Khan who had a name in mind for the role of Capt. Vikram Batra. He apparently wanted his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma, to make his debut with this film, back in 2016.

    © Instagram/Aayush Sharma
Boxwala said in an interview, “Salman approached me at a stage when I was in talks with Junglee Pictures. He wanted Shershaah to be Aayush’s [Sharma] debut film, and wanted to partner with me on it.” However, he had already pitched Sidharth Malhotra to Batra’s family who also wanted him to play the role and he didn’t want to replace him.

    © Dharma Productions
“It would have been highly unethical to drop him for another actor. When Captain Batra’s family gave me the rights, it was a big moment for me. They showed immense trust in me, and I didn’t want to go wrong at any step. I explained [my predicament] to Salman, who was understanding. Aayush was sweet and sportingly said that playing a double role in his debut movie might be [a tall order],” he added.

    © Dharma Productions
He further explained how the project panned out. “From Junglee Pictures, the film went to Dharma Productions [in 2019]. It didn’t take Karan [Johar] more than five minutes to say yes to the project. Director Dennis Lee came from Los Angeles to helm the film, but things didn’t work out. Vishnu Varadhan [director] was suggested by my writer Sandeep Shrivastava.”

    © Instagram/Shabbir Boxwala
It still took more than a year to shoot and bring the film to life. Meanwhile, Aayush Sharma made his Bollywood debut with Loveyatri in 2018 which was produced by Salman Khan.

We’re glad that Sidharth was cast as ‘Shershaah’. The reviews and appreciation that the film is receiving is proof that Boxwala made the right choice.

You’ve just started seeing someone and there is plenty to find out about this person with every passing day and date. Things have been going well and are headed straight to the bedroom and you are nervous about how it’s going to go down (pun intended).
And this is exactly where knowing your date’s zodiac signcan help.

    via GIPHY
While the real and sure-fire way to find out who is good at giving head is through experimentation, it doesn’t hurt to look at the statistics every once in a while. Especially if it means knowing in advance how good the chances of your partner being good at their (blow)job are.
Here are 6 zodiac signs that make great headway when it comes to oral *** -
    1) Cancer © iStock
People under this sign are all about affection, cuddles and simply adoring their partners. But when things get steamy, they tend to convert that fondness into a desire to give pleasure. They will make a canvas out of your body and paint their love with their tongues, while you will only be able to hold on to the sheets and wait for that release.

    2) Libra © iStock
Librans are all about people-pleasing and so when it comes to their partner in bed, they never like to leave them unsatisfied. They will go all out and make sure you have the time of your lives, but keep in mind, they like their gestures to be reciprocated.

    3) Capricorn © iStock
Quick learners and ones with an eye for detail, Capricorns will always want to put all the information that they have gathered to good use. For them, pleasing you in bed is a conquest and boy, do they seldom ever lose.

    4) Gemini © iStock
The official ‘tease’ of the 12 zodiac signs, Geminis like to invoke pleasure in you by keeping you at the edge of ecstasy for the longest time. They are good at making you squirm, to the point you’ll find yourself begging for them to keep going. Guess their mischievousness pays off pretty well in bed.

    5) Sagittarius © iStock
Bold and beautiful, a Sagittarius likes to take everything in its stride and is not shy when it comes to making, or like in this case - giving love. Of course they have a reputation for being selfish lovers in bed, but the times when they do get down in the ring, it’s a certainty that they will give you a time you won’t ever forget.

    6) Pisces © iStock
Most generous and romantic sign in the list, Pisces believes in giving without even being asked. They will be the ones taking care of you and your needs better than anyone, making you just sit back and relax and enjoy all the dirty lovin’. Not to forget, the precision with which they are known to please.

Amidst the desperate evacuation of citizens and diplomats due to the shockingly rapid collapse of the Afghanistan government, we saw a video of the U.S. Air Force C-17A cargo jet taking off from the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. According to a report by The Drive, the Air Traffic Controller could not believe what he was hearing from ‘Reach’ RCH871 on the airwaves after its swift departure from Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul.
