Here’s How Much Parag Agrawal Will Earn As The New Twitter CEO

Indians across the globe woke up proud and happy after one of us took over as the Twitter CEO. Parag Agrawal, 37 years old and an IIT-Bombay graduate replaced Jack Dorsey as the new Twitter chief executive officer. He was previously working as the CTO so one must remember that money was great. However, as per various reports, Parag  will receive an annual salary of around $1 million-plus bonuses, the company mentioned in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

As far as stock options are concerned, Parag Agrawal will also be entitled to receive restricted stock units valued at $12.5 million, along with performance-based restricted stock units in April 2022. Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey had earlier denied all compensation and benefits since 2015 and was drawing a salary of $1.40 since 2018 because it was supposed to be a testament to "his commitment to and belief in Twitter’s long-term value creation potential".

With this new role, Parag joins the rank of other notable Indians lik  like Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Google’s Sundar Pichai, IBM's Arvind Krishna, and Adobe's Shantanu Narayen,  who are already leading big tech giants. Well, what can we say? This is one type of global domination we love!
