Sushmita Sen and boyfriend Rohman Shawl recently called it quits after being together for the past three years. 

The couple were known to give major relationship goals with their social media PDA, cute nicknames and fitness videos they shared with their fans and followers.

After the rumours of their breakup started doing the rounds, since fans started noticing the absence of their pictures together from their respective Instagram account, the duo announced the news of their split, putting the rumours at rest.

Sushmita posted a cryptic breakup post dropping the news and shared that the two former lovers would remain friends just like how they were at the start of their relationship.  

She posted a picture of her with Rohman Shawl and wrote in the caption, “We began as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship was long over…the love remains!!” Shawl commented on the post “Always!”

He also reposted the same picture on his Instagram account, confirming the breakup.  

Fans were disappointed with the news of their relationship coming to an end and some even judged and trolled them stating ridiculous reasons like the age gap.  

However, there was one Instagram user who commented on the post, “You owe so much to her, brother. Never forget that." 

Rohman, a fashion model from Noida met Sen via an Instagram DM that the actress responded to by mistake. Soon, they became friends and fell in love. The couple had been living together for a couple of years.

Rohman responded to the user in the most sensible and mature way. He replied to them saying, "I can never ever forget that!! She is my family.” He ended the comment with a heart emoji.

Post-breakup, trolls have been commenting on his solo posts too. And, he has been dealing with them like a boss. 

When a user wrote on one of his pictures, "I have started developing a hatred for some people... I am not liking it though,” he said, "Hate is not good meri jaan. Don’t give someone that much power to evoke that feeling!! #chill."
