Ever since Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding, which took place in Rajasthan last month, there have been constant speculations around other Bollywood couples who might tie the knot soon. Recently, various reports suggested that Richa Chaddha and Ali Fazal are planning to get married in March 2022. While the Fukrey stars are yet to confirm it, the latest buzz suggests that another celebrity couple might get hitched in March this year. 

Well, we're talking about actor-director Farhan Akhtar and his girlfriend Shibani Dandekar. Rumours have it that the couple has decided to exchange nuptial vows in a low-key wedding ceremony in March. 

Revealing the same, a source told BollywoodLife, "Farhan and Shibani were planning a lavish wedding in Mumbai in March 2022. However, now they will keep it low-key as the COVID cases have been rising once again and there are many Bollywood celebs, too, who have been tested COVID positive. And so the couple has decided to get married among friends and family. Farhan and Shibani are living together and they don't want to delay their wedding amid the pandemic, and so, they thought to keep it an intimate affair".

Sharing further details about their alleged wedding, the source added that the much-in-love couple has finalised almost everything and has booked a 5-star hotel as their wedding venue. Also, they have reportedly chosen Sabyasachi outfits for the D-day. 

However, both Farhan and Shibani are yet to react to their wedding rumours. 

For the unversed, the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor was earlier married to celebrity hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani and they are parents to two daughters, Shakya and Akira. In 2016, the duo shocked everyone by announcing their separation after 16 years of marriage. After over a year, in 2017, their divorce was finalised. 

Post his divorce, Farhan started dating Shibani in 2018 and they have been in a happy space since then. 

On the career front, Farhan was last seen in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehta’s sports drama Toofan. Earlier this year, the film premiered on Amazon Prime Video and he was appreciated for his performance as a boxer. With Jee Le Zara, featuring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, he is all set to make his directorial comeback after a decade. He last directed Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Don 2 which was released in 2011.
