‘She’s A Dangerous Girl From…’ When Akshay Warned Saif About Dating Kareena & Said ‘Dekh Ke’

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who made her debut opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the 2000 drama Refugee, has established herself as one of the most successful actresses who have stayed in the top league for over two decades now. Apart from films, her personal life too remained in the limelight throughout her career. After her breakup with Shahid Kapoor in 2007, the Jab We Met star started dating Saif Ali Khan while shooting for Tashan. However, did you know that her Tashan co-star Akshay Kumar had warned Saif about dating her during the shoot?

In an interview with Twinkle Khanna, posted on the Tweak India YouTube channel, Kareena has now revealed that when Akshay observed something is brewing between Saif and her, he urged the Omkara star to 'tread cautiously'. He advised Saif to 'not mess' with Kareena because the Kapoors are a "dangerous family".

Talking about the same, Kareena said, "Saif and Akshay were talking, and Akshay got the vibe that Saif and me were connecting. Akshay took Saif in the corner, and he was like, ‘Listen, tread carefully. They’re dangerous girls and this is a dangerous family, dekh ke reh’. He was like, ‘Don’t mess with her’, was his vibe, like, ‘You’re barking up the wrong tree’. Saif was like, ‘No, no, I know, I’ll figure her out’".

Well, thank god Saif didn't listen to Akshay. After dating each other for several years, Saif & Kareena finally exchanged wedding vows in 2012 and are now parents to two sons - Taimur and Jeh.

On the professional front, after Tashan, the happily-married couple worked together in films like Kurbaan and Agent Vinod. However, none of the movies did well at the box office.

Currently, both Kareena and Saif have several interesting projects in their kitty. Kareena will next be seen opposite Aamir Khan in Advait Chandan's much-hyped film Laal Singh Chaddha. It is the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. She has also signed Hansal Mehta's next, to be produced by Ekta Kapoor.
