Salman Khan, last year, was trolled for starring opposite Disha Patani in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai despite a huge age difference between them. Many believe that this negative publicity affected the film badly. However, this year too, several upcoming films will see leading men pairing up with much younger heroines. Well, we’re not at all surprised as Bollywood is a repeat offender when it comes to normalizing huge age differences in films.

Age Difference: 27 years

Produced by Kangana Ranaut, the film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in the lead roles. There is an age gap of nearly three-decade between them. While Nawazuddin is 47 years old, Avneet is 20 years old and is making her Bollywood debut as a protagonist with the film. Earlier, she was seen playing the role of Rani Mukerji's niece in the 2014 hit Mardaani. Coming back to Tiku Weds Sheru, the quirky comedy is directed by Sabir Khan.

Age Difference: 30 Years

Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Prithviraj marks the acting debut of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar opposite Akshay Kumar. While Akshay is 54 years old, Manushi is 24, only five years elder than the Bollywood superstar's son Aarav. Well, that sounds a little creepy.

After romancing Salman in Radhe, Disha Patani is working with John Abraham in Ek Villain Returns. In the sequel to Ek Villain, the 29-year-old actress will be seen romancing John whose age is 49. Directed by Mohit Suri, Ek Villain Returns also stars Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria and is among the most-awaited films.

Not only Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar's Bachchan Pandey too will see a younger actress opposite him. Kriti Sanon, 31, is playing the female lead in the film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. This is not the first time when Akshay & Kriti have teamed up onscreen. Earlier, they also worked together in Housefull 4 which was released in 2019.
