One of the biggest movies of recent times is Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files which has surprised everyone by becoming a super hit and is going strong at the box-office. The movie has already garnered over Rs 190 crore in 12 days and is expected to cross the Rs 200 crore mark in no time. Talking about the money spent on the making of the movie, here’s how much the star cast earned while shooting it:

The veteran actor par excellence has reportedly charged Rs 1 crore for essaying the role of Pushkar Nath Pandit.

Another pivotal role of IAS officer Brahma Dutt was essayed by this superstar, who reportedly took a cheque of Rs 1.5 crore.

The actress who played Radhika Menon in the film has reportedly charged around Rs 50-70 lakhs for the film.

The actor who played Krishna Pandit was paid around Rs 45 lakhs.

He played the role of DGP Hari Narain and was paid around Rs 50 lakhs.

Besides the cast, the man behind this movie, Vivek Agnihotri was reportedly paid around Rs 1 crore for the film. The movie is currently running tax-free in several states and chronicles the tale of the atrocities borne by the Kashmiri Pandits in the 90s.
