Two Biopics On PM Modi Is Being Made & We Wonder What The Accidental Prime Minister Has To Say

It's going to be NaMo vs NaMo at the box-office, as another biopic is being made on Prime Minister Narendra Modi featuring actor Paresh Rawal.

Recently, actor Vivek Oberoi shared the first look from his upcoming biopic, which is being directed by Omung Kumar, where he will be playing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Turns out Paresh Rawal is making another movie on PM Modi. In fact, the actor seems to be confident about the role as he told Mid-Day in an interview that, "No one can pull off the role better (than me)."

In 2018, during the promotion of 'Sanju', actor Paresh Rawal has confirmed that he is making a biopic on PM Modi, so looking at one with Vivek Oberoi was kind of a surprise for all of us. When asked about the same, he said that PM Modi's life has sufficient fodder for directors to explore and his biopic will focus on how a man with limited experience first became Gujarat's Chief Minister and then the nation's Prime Minister.

"He's not an armchair (prime minister), but a passionate countryman who has visited abundant villages (to study problems) firsthand. These factors will be the driving forces of our biopic," Paresh further told Mid-Day. Reportedly, Paresh will be producing this movie. However, nothing is known about the director.

Currently, Paresh Rawal is gearing up for the release of 'Uri', where he will play former intelligence officer Ajit Doval, the man who is said to have supervised the 2016 surgical strikes. 'Uri' is releasing on January 11.
