Stephen Fry Spotted An 'Adarsh Balak' Poster At His Doctor's Office & Desi Twitter Went Nuts

Let's take a walk down the memory lane and remember those different types of charts we would go buy for school. They were usually something like 'types of fruits' or 'types of flowers' but there were some particular charts that had directions to become the ideal child. We all remember the 'adarsh balak' and now even Stephen Fry does.

The English comedian, actor, and writer stumbled upon a framed 'adarsh balak' chart at his doctor's office and was so confused by it that he decided to share it with his 12.7 million followers.

Decidedly odd of my doctor to hang this in his surgery. I've tried to live up to it though. Haven't managed to "Pray Almighty" or "Join NCC", otherwise I'm getting there. pic.twitter.com/Dl52jaqang

When a 61-year-old man is just about getting close to becoming the ideal child, then why was so much pressure put on us when we were kids?

He was so fascinated by this chart, he went ahead and found more of them when someone asked.

I'm afraid to say that the closest I could find was this ... make of it what you will pic.twitter.com/m5Yc6uvg1T

This obviously sparked the interest of desi Twitter and so many people shared a lot of other charts in the comments. Something that's related to India and desi Twitter isn't all over it? Impossible!

God bless whoever made this version, it's hilarious.

This is really great because there's a whole series of satire comics based on this supposed Adarsh Balak ie An Ideal Child. Here's a few I guess pic.twitter.com/SAyGurzT6B

The best thing anyone will ever see.

No one expected this.

And here's a cheeky meme follow up inspired by this ideal kid using the same artistic style (unlikely that you'll read this)ð¤ð½https://t.co/vKnHAt8jiY pic.twitter.com/T6BGBQXC2i

Definitely Indian.

is your doctor Indian, by any chance? This what they put up in class when I was a school and we had to buy it at stationery shops to cut out and stick in scrap books for "moral science"

Your doctor must be Indian .. ð
