Actor R. Madhavan is currently busy with his upcoming directorial debut, 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect'. Madhavan will play the 77-year-old ISRO scientist and aerospace engineer, Nambi Narayanan in the biopic, and is already getting rave reviews from his fans for his incredible transformation.

In all honesty, Madhavan looks so convincing in these pictures that it often becomes difficult to identify which of them is the real scientist and who is his on-screen avatar. Interestingly, it took Madhavan 14 hours to transform himself into the scientist's doppelganger and over two and a half years to get into the character.
