Social media is a bizarre place. Here anything and anyone under the sun is just a click away from going viral. From dancing uncle, chai peelo aunty, dhinchak Pooja, wink queen Priya to an egg (yes even an egg) can break the internet and get the world to talk about them. Recently, a picture of a bunch of kids went viral that has left people emotional and teary-eyed.
"You're only as happy as you choose to be," said Boman Irani about this picture, which is now being termed as the 'Selfie of the Year'. Honestly, we couldn't agree any more. While most of us crib about things we don't have, these kids with their innocent smiles teach us how one can be truly happy and content with whatever they have.
“You're only as happy as you choose to be”. A saying that holds true for one and all!!
And I'm sure this selfie deserves more likes than most. pic.twitter.com/KafEzq3mg8
This heartwarming picture has since then touched a million hearts as both commoners and Bollywood celebrities continue to share it on social media.
I'm sharing this image that came in on text cause d unbridled innocence n joy of these lovely kids moved me n made me smile in equal measure
Super image that asks questions
If anyone can reliably locate these munchkins n d photog I'd love to personally send them something each pic.twitter.com/5JWBmixzSH
From Boman Irani, Anupam Kher to Suniel Shetty, everyone posted about it. So did Bollywood's Shehenshah Amitabh Bachchan, but to point out something that most of us failed to notice.
According to Big B, the picture is apparently photoshopped and he has his own reasons to think so. He wrote, ".. with due respect and apology .. i feel this is photoshopped .. notice that the hand that holds the chappal is different than the rest of his body in size .. to his other hand by his side !!"

His post has left the internet divided. While some agree with him, there were some who corrected him and trolled him for calling it Photoshop.
@ SrBachchan sir.. I think the slipper belongs to that another small boy.. See his one foot is on the ground with similar slipper and another one (since he has removed slipper) is hanging with the support.. I think this is genuine image with genuine innocence..— Kinnari Bhatt (@KinnariBhatt) February 4, 2019
Is that all you noticed? Did you notice the abject poverty? Did you notice the abysmally raw deal they have been given by your generation? Did you notice their need to be like children in other countries not ruled by your friends and cronies?— RandomlyRandom (@RandomRoaming) February 4, 2019 February 4, 2019

Amit ji ðð½
Nice to hear from u
Checked wt 3 post prod experts independently
- Doo Creative, Hyd
- Khurshed Poonawala
All of them said it's NOT photoshopped
The hand wt the chappal looking enlarged is a matter of perspective distortion standard on smartphones
This is not Photoshop edit ...
Very possible with close angle photo the hands looking bigger .
The other chappal is there too
