When 'Dabangg' directed by Abhinav Kashyap released in 2010, it went on to become a mega blockbuster, and a stellar debut film for Sonakshi Sinha. The actress who played the female lead in the movie opposite Salman Khan, was seen again in 'Dabangg 2' (2012) which was directed by Arbaaz Khan himself.
Now Salman and Arbaaz have officially announced that 'Dabangg 3' is finally happening, and is all set to hit the floors today in Indore. Salman earlier took to Instagram to make the announcement through a video clip which also featured Arbaaz, and they shared that the film's shooting will take place in two locations in Indore, which is also the actors' birthplace.

They will shoot in Mandleshwar and Maheshwar for 'Dabangg 3' where their grandfather was posted during his time in the police force.
'Dabangg 3' will be directed by Prabhu Deva and co-produced by brothers Salman and Arbaaz. Earlier reports in Bollywood Hungama had also announced that the makers of 'Dabangg 3' are looking at a December release, which also happens to be the time when Arjun Kapoor's 'Panipat' is scheduled to hit the screens.

While rumours of Arbaaz's ex-wife Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor's wedding in April is now blowing stronger than ever, no one can be too sure if the choice of time for 'Dabangg 3' release is intentional. Because, let's be honest, we all know who will take the prize home if Salman and Arjun butt heads at the box office.

Given the immense popularity of the 'Dabangg' franchise, there is no denying that Salman-Arbaaz's film might topple Arjun's chase to a solo win. Anyhow, this might also be the only kind of “fight” (at the box office) people shall get to see between Salman, Arbaaz and Arjun.
Let's see how things pan out for the trio in the months to come.
