A few days ago, we shared the news with you guys that music maestro AR Rahman is teaming up with Marvel, to create a special anthem for all the desi fans of 'Avengers: Endgame'. According to reports, the special track was going to be released on April 1 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Turns out the Russo brothers did not pull an April Fool's Day prank on us.

The special song dropped just now and to be honest the song is good, but not something we were expecting to go with the theme of Avengers. The song features AR Rahman as a part of flash mob walking through the streets and singing 'Roke na rukenge ab to yaara', with stills of Thanos and the Avengers plugged in between.

The moment I heard the song, the first thing that came to my mind is that the superheroes are not going to 'avenge the fallen', but actually gearing up for a cricket match against Thanos. Given that the IPL season is on, if BCCI plays this track in a stadium during a match, it will sound like an IPL anthem of a cricket team. 

Having said that, it is one of those songs that you don't like initially, but grows on you gradually.
