That Anand Ahuja is a massive sneakerhead shouldn't surprise anyone. So much so that he has his own sneaker retailing chain, VegNonVeg. Anand has worn some really interesting pairs over the years, and yet, he somehow manages to still get us to turn our heads, sit up and take note. This time around, he was seen wearing one of the wildest pair of sneakers we have seen in a long time. Quite literally.

Anand was spotted outside the Mumbai Airport in a pair of sneakers with a leopard print.

The sneakers had a very limited production run, and therefore are extremely rare. These are the atmos x Nike Air Max 1. The particular pair that Anand is wearing seem to be from their Animal 2.0 pack, considering that the latest ones, from Animal 3.0, do not have the red accents and the red swoosh.

Now, we should tell you that the sneakers only have a leopard print, they do not use the animal's actual hide.

These Nikes have long been out of production, but you can still pick up a pair from a large number of online retailers. If you have the cash lying around, that is. That's because the Atmos Animal 2.0s are actually very expensive.

The sneakers normally retail for around $1300-1500. The “cheapest” ones that we could find online, retails for $1222, or almost Rs 87,000.

For that kind of money, you can have an ultra-luxurious holiday in Thailand, AND Vietnam, combined.

As a sneakerhead, you can expect Anand to dress up in a manner which focuses a viewer's attention on his sneakers, and that's exactly what he did here. In a very classily assembled monochrome ensemble, Anand paired the sneakers with a very relaxed-fitting pair of sweats and chinos.
