Aarav Dressed Up As His Father Akshay Kumar From 20 Years Ago For Diwali & It's Twinning Goals

It seems obvious that Aarav will be a spitting image of his father, Akshay Kumar, but sometimes, the resemblance between the father-son duo is really uncanny.

Especially when we consider the way that they dress. At Amitabh Bachchan's Diwali party this year, both of them turned up in what can only be described as quintessential Indian outfits that are worthy of a strong father-son twinning moment.

Where Akshay is in a kurta that is fairly modern and has a number of contemporary touches to it, Aarav was seen in a kurta set that had a very antique appeal to it, something that Akshay would have worn a decade or two ago.

That's not to say that what Aarav is wearing is by any way outdated. Rather, he seems to be more appropriately dressed for the occasion. The thing with most Indian ethnic wear for men is that they age really well, and do not really get outdated, as long as you take care of them properly.

Coming to Akshay's kurta, it is a masterpiece in itself. The pearly white embroidery works really well against the baby pink base, and has a rather understated charm to it. That said, the kurta is not at all simplistic and has been constructed really tastefully.

Aarav's kurta, on the other hand, is a very tasteful classic piece of traditional Indian kurtas. Again, on a base of baby pink, we see some really exquisite gold and silver zari work.

And can we just add that Twinkle Khanna looks rather elegant and classy in the traditional suit? That's one way of coordinating your outfits for any occasion.

Fashion goals for the family, anyone?
