Farhan Akhtar recently took to his Instagram account to share a rare throwback picture with his mother Honey Irani and sister Zoya Akhtar. Along with the heartwarming picture, he also shared a recent picture of them in the same post from this year's Diwali party. 

Farhan is a very private person and we usually only get to know about his personal life through his social media handles, and so this throwback picture is garnering a lot of love from people on the internet.

Farhan and Zoya are both children of Javed Akhtar's first wife Honey Irani. Javed and Honey got married in the year 1972. However, Javed later married actor Shabana Azmi, after he divorced Honey in the year 1985. 

Farhan also shared pictures with his girlfriend Shibani Dandekar from the same Diwali party with a caption that read, “Happy Diwali to you and your loved ones. @shibanidandekar."

The 45-year-old actor was last seen in the film The Sky Is Pink along with Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. However, the film failed to do well at the box office but the story and Farhan's performance received mixed reviews from both audience as well as the critics.  

Farhan will be next seen in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's directorial Toofan which is set to release in the year 2020.
