The television industry woke up to the sad and shocking news of Ishq Mein Marjawan actor Kushal Punjabi passing away at the age of 37, today. The actors who have known him or have worked with him still cannot fathom the news of his death.

Kushal's friend Karanvir Bohra shared this news on social media and expressed his grief on Instagram. He wrote, “Ur demise has shocked the hell out of me.I'm still in denial @itsme_kushalpunjabi. I know you are in a happier place, but this is unfathomable. The way you lead your life really inspired me in more ways than one....but what was I to know. Your zest for dancing, fitness, off-road biking, fatherhood and above all that, that smiling face of yours, your happy-go-lucky nature your warmth all that was such ingenuity. I'm gonna miss you so much #kushlani You will always be remembered sad a guy who lived a full life. #dancingdaddy #fit #lifeenthusiast #biker #smilingface #onelifeliveitright #restinpeace #omnamoshivaya."

After he shared this post on Instagram, other celebrities from the TV industry started to message and ask if it's even true. Rajesh Khattar even mentioned that he met Kushal the night before and this news left him in complete shock. Shweta Tiwari, Ravi Dubey, and many others are shocked by this news of his sudden demise too.

If you check Kushal's account, he was pretty active as he took to his Instagram stories to share a picture of his son.

Fans are also in shock as he looked pretty happy in his last Instagram post and can't believe the tragic news.

What is even more shocking is a Spotboye report which states that the actor committed suicide and his body was found hanging in his residence. Karanvir Bohra and Kushal's close friend Chetan Hansraj have confirmed it to Spotboye (an entertainment portal) that the actor has committed suicide. “We will get Kushal's body by afternoon and his last rites will take place post 1 pm today," added Chetan.

It's indeed a sad news and we pray his soul rests in peace.
