OnePlus, as we all know, will launch its new phone for 2020 very soon. Although we don't know much about the phone just yet, we believe it's going to be a premium device with snappy performance, just like their current phones in the market.

And now the CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau, has just confirmed that their next phone will have a 120Hz display. Now, that's just awesome because we already love the 90Hz panel on the OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus 7T Pro. In fact, Pete believes that it'll be the best smartphone display in 2020.

We're glad that OnePlus has decided to push the boundaries when it comes to display tech and come up with this new 120Hz panel for their next phone, which is believed to the OnePlus 8. As revealed by OnePlus, the new display feature the most rigorous hardware configuration in the industry and a handful of exciting technologies including MEMC technology for smoother video playback and a QHD+ resolution.

The display also has the most accurate colour accuracy and 4096-level of automatic brightness control, four times of average android flagships. All that sounds super exciting, doesn't it? Well, now we just can't wait to check out the device in person and feel for it.
