Maniesh Paul is actually quite the hypebeast. Which, given Bollywoodâs obsession with sneakers is not that surprising. 

On any given day, you will find our B-Towners sporting some really cool classics, most of which are actually pieces that hardcore collectors and sneakerheads would happily shell out an exorbitant amount of rupees to get their hands on.

It was, therefore, quite a surprise when Maniesh Paul showed up wearing one of the most quirky pairs of sneakers ever to have been made, for a recent film screening.

But first, letâs get to his outfit.

Maniesh is seen here wearing a dope camouflaged hooded t-shirt. Or a rather hooded t-sweatshirt, if that makes any sense. With that, he has paired a quirky pair of jeans, which actually has a very interesting silhouette.

Thanks to the number of exposed zippers on the front, they have a very technical appeal, and actually look quite zany. However, they certainly donât hold a candle to the quirky sneakers that heâs wearing.

Maniesh is seen here wearing the Nike Air Jordan 1 âFearlessâ sneakers, which, actually is a pair that has had the most visceral reactions to a sneaker, ever. Theyâre often referred to as clown shoes or clown sneakers, thanks to the rather flamboyant colour scheme that they have.

The fact that they are made of patent leather, instead of the usual calfskin leather that goes with the Jordan 1s also seems to aggravate people. The end result is a sneaker that has a classically Jordan 1 silhouette, but with a rather bizarre finish. They would have been perfect for Joaquin Phoenix in Joker, thanks to their bizarre and colours and finish.

With that being said, the other colours that are part of the drop have actually been well received, particularly their all-red version of the Fearless, which sold out in minutes once they went up for sale.

We quite actually like the red and blue Jordan 1s. Yes, they are a little unusual, but thatâs what makes them interesting. As for the manner in which Maniesh is wearing them, having changed the laces with a pair of blue laces, they are actually kinda cool. They certainly have our approval.
