Samsung Sent A Mysterious 1 Notifications To Users Around The World & Heres Why It Happened

One of the creepiest and mysterious notification was sent out to Samsung Galaxy phone users that basically read â1â with another â1â right below it. The notification was spotted by countless users and screenshots were shared all over Twitter. Samsung responded to the notification saying it was unintentionally set during an internal test.

We received the same notification on the Galaxy Note 10+, Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy S10 Lite proving that it was not an isolated event. The notification came from Samsungâs Find My Mobile service that allows users to track and remotely locate their smartphones and other devices. It is also used to store data on devices linked to Samsung Cloud, delete local data and block access to Samsung Pay. Many users were worried about the notification assuming it was an attempt to hack their phones.

Anyone else get that find my mobile push notification that just about gave me a heart attack?

Jesus christ Samsung

Accidental notifications are not a new thing as OnePlus also recently sent out a weird notification that contained Chinese characters. It was a failed internal test for software update, but it freaked out many OnePlus users at the time.

Some users also complained that the Find My Mobile app also drained considerable battery after the notification appeared, however Samsung has not addressed that issue yet. As of now, you do not need to change your passwords or reset your phone as it was probably just an internal test for one of Samsungâs cloud features.
