Just after the tweet started to garner attention, people were quick to react on the social media platform and asked if India would again be a safe place after 21 days of lockdown and interestingly, people are in favour of extending the lockdown because they have started to understand the dire consequences of this contagious virus.

Okay so after 14th april, the virus will disappear.. Wow..

And why do you think the lockdown should be removed ? Will India be a safe place again in 21 days ?

Unless the issue is under control the lock down is required otherwise things could look very bad.

if things are not in controll after the expiry of this lockdown period,GOI should extend the lockdown period. it is the only remedy that has controlled the spread of corona in India so far

I feel extension of Lockdown is inevitable. Look at this graph. dis #lockdown21 is not going to give any major result. Minimum lockdown need to be of 49 days. BTW @realDonaldTrump has extended Social distancing measures upto April 30 2020 that is enough for us to know #covid19 pic.twitter.com/5rWu917YCo

Seeing the situation as of today, itâs still very important that the government should take their decision considering the safety of the countrymen. On Monday morning there were reports of  130 new cases  which were freshly reported. Itâs surely a worrying sign and all the precautionary measures should be taken. Well, more cases are expected after thousands of daily wage workers crossed the Delhi border to go back to their villages. So far, India has recorded over 1,100 coronavirus cases with the death toll crossing 25. Worldwide, coronavirus has claimed over 30,000 lives
Letâs see what PM Narendra Modi decides on April 14.
