Ajaz Khan has, unfortunately, become a synonym to controversies, as time and again he is in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. Well, we know for a fact that Ajaz can create controversy even if there's none, not only from his Bigg Boss record, but his other antics too that get people talking without a doubt.

From posting objectionable videos to possessing drugs, he has time and again faced legal action. Yesterday, he was arrested and he is trending at the top on all the news channels and digital platforms.

It's not the first time that he has been trending for all the wrong reasons. Let's take a look at the five times he proved that he is the 'Badshah' of controversies.

1. Arrested By Mumbai Police For Spreading Communal Hate Amid The Coronavirus Pandemic

Ajaz Khan is back in the news because he has been arrested for spreading hate, using religion as a weapon, on his social media platforms. He has been arrested for promoting enmity between two groups and for waging 'war against the country'.

Khar police booked him under sections 153A (Promoting enmity between different groups), 121 (Waging, or attempting to wage war, or abetting waging of war, against the Government of India), 117 (Abetting commission of an offence by the public or by more than ten persons), 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 501 (Printing or engraving matter known to be defamatory), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 505(2) (Statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred or ill will between classes) of the Indian Penal Code.

But his fans on Twitter have started trending #ReleaseAjazKhan and have flooded the social media platform with their tweets.

Fans have been demanding his release and are saying that he is a man with a golden heart who has always helped the needy.

2. Booked For The Possession Of Banned Drugs

In 2018, the infamous actor was sent to custody for allegedly possessing eight tablets of Ecstasy, a banned drug. Obviously, he had denied committing any crime and alleged that it was part of a conspiracy. "Based on specific information, the 38-year-old actor was arrested from the room of a hotel in Belapur. Khan, a resident of Andheri in Mumbai, was possessing tablets of 'Ecstasy', a narcotic drug," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Tushar Doshi, had earlier said.

3. Assaulted A Model By Sending Obscene Photographs

Back in 2016, he was arrested for sending obscene photographs to a 25-year-old model on WhatsApp. He was arrested under Section 509 (word, gesture, act to outrage modesty of women) and Section 504 (intentional insult) of the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act. The model had said in her FIR that Khan invited her to a hotel in Juhu and sent an obscene photograph to her.

4. His Infamous TikTok Video

It seems like Khan always wants to be in the limelight for all sorts of wrong reasons. Last year, he was sent to custody for 14 days for spreading communal hate on TikTok. In one of the videos, he had mocked Mumbai Police for filing FIR against TikTok stars for posting threatening and outrageous video as revenge for Tabrej Ansari's death. In the video, the stars were seen saying, “You may have killed that innocent Tabrez Ansari, but tomorrow if his son takes revenge, do not say that all Muslims are terrorists.”
