An entire state of the United States of America is basically a meme and turns out, you really earn your reputation. The Florida man/Florida woman meme may be a little old but it's one of the most hilarious ones. And, every single person in the state of Florida seems to be trying to outdo each other in terms of ridiculousness. Take this guy, for example, who was recently caught with guns in his car and came up with the most hilarious excuse to try and get out of trouble.

27-year-old Getro Gelin from Port St. Lucie was confronted by cops who then searched his Porsche SUV only to find a Glock 21 pistol, a semi-automatic rifle, and a bulletproof vest. Well, turns out quick thinking is not our guy Getro's strong suit as we claimed that he had sold his car to his cousin whose name is, wait for it, John Wick! Keanu Reeves, please explain yourself.

No points for guessing that this was obviously a lie and he later admitted that, saying he won't reveal his cousin's name.

While the entire John Wick episode is pretty hilarious, everything else about the incident is anything but. Reportedly, he was caught and searched after a woman told police he shoved her to the ground and threatened her with a firearm. Thankfully, he is in jail right now. But, we can still laugh about his very believable claim that the guns are actually his cousin John Wick's.
