Meerut Woman Who Ran Away From Home To Avoid Marriage Has Now Become A PCS Officer & We’re Proud
Women have been fighting for their rights from the past many years now and still, women are expected to get married at a certain age and give up their careers for the same. But, now there are strong women who are setting brilliant examples for us.
Sanju Rani Verma, who was 28 years old in 2013, fought for what she wanted in her life and achieved all her dreams.

Sanju lost her mother when she was completing her post-graduation degree from Delhi University. After this incident, her family wanted her to give up her studies and get married but she fought for her rights and didn’t let her family’s opinions clog her mind.
According to TOI, Sanju tried to make her family understand that she wanted to build her career and didn’t wish to get married.
But, her family opposed it and didn’t understand her feelings.

She left her post-graduation degree midway and moved out of her house to rent a small apartment where she started taking tuitions. She was offered a part-time teaching job in private institutions and managed all this while preparing for her PCS exam.
Now, seven years later, she has cracked her exam to become a commercial tax officer.

The now 35-year-old wants to crack the civil service exam and fulfill her dream of becoming a division magistrate. She now wants to support her family with her success and also Sanju’s achievement is a befitting reply to those who thought she should give up everything to get married.
