Last Sunday, the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) produced one of the most memorable matchdays in the history of the tournament. On 18th October, cricket fans weren't treated to one, not two, but three 'Super Over' contests on a single day.

The first match of the day saw Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) edging past Sunrisers Hyderabad with a thrilling 'Super Over' finish. 

While fans were just coming to terms with all the excitement in IPL 2020, the second match of the day took their emotions overboard. It took Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) two 'Super Overs' to eventually record a much-needed win over Mumbai Indians (MI).

From brilliant individual performances, pulsating matchups to a nail-biting finish, the Mumbai-Punjab cracker of a contest had everything a cricket fan could hope for. 

It clearly had enough reasons to watch the tie, but the fans, going by their reactions on social media, found another one to stay glued to their TV sets, all thanks to Riana Lalwani.

During the 'Super Overs', the state of affairs on the field had pretty much everyone feeling the stress. But, a stressed-out Riana, who was lucky enough to watch the contest from the stands of Dubai International Cricket Stadium, pretty much summed up the mood after the cameraman gave her some airtime where she was seen biting her nails.

Ever since she stepped into the spotlight during the match, Riana has been the talk of the town on social media with fans eager to know her identity.

For someone who became a social media sensation overnight, Riana, too, appears to be cashing in on her newly-found fame. Her Instagram bio now reads: "that super over girl".

According to her Facebook account, Riana did her schooling from Jumeirah College in Dubai and is currently doing her graduation from the University of Warwick in Coventry, England.

On 12th September, Riana celebrated her 23rd birthday at The Maine in Dubai in the company of her mother Nikita and father Manu Lalwani.
