Dog Walks 100 Kms To Return To Owner After They Put Him In Temporary Care & It’s Heartwarming

Dogs are the best and most of us can say that without a doubt. Recently, an owner of a one-year-old golden retriever was astonished when they found that their pet had walked over 100kms in fourteen days to return back home.

The owner had put the dog at a friend’s house due to the renovation work that was going on at their home. This happened with the dog owners who reside in eastern China’s Qidong city and a dog named Ping An (Safe and Sound) was dropped safely at his temporary owner's house.

However, after some days the family of the dog was grief-stricken and extremely heartbroken as Ping An had run away from their friend's house and had gone missing.

But, Ping An’s owner had no clue that he had embarked on a solo trip back home to get back with his actual family. The adorable dog walked for 14 days to reach his home. When he reached the city, a group of people spotted him outside an office and took care of the wounded and malnourished dog.

To find out the owners of the dog, the group of people shared a picture of the dog on the Chinese messaging app called WeChat. The post got viral and Ping An’s owners were found within a day.

They were soon reunited and owners came to pick up the dog from the company’s site. Also, now Ping An’s owners have decided to never send him away ever again.

The dog is now regularly taken to the vet and is getting treated. Aren’t dogs the best?
