Soon Major Mani returned to the camp and the boy ran towards the officer and showed him the crate of apples that he brought for him and other officers. They started exchanging small gifts, that's how they became friends and later Major Mani decided to adopt Gawhar.
Now Major Mani is funding the boy’s education and also recently bought him a smartphone so that both of them can keep in touch. Later, when he met with his family, he found out that the disease runs in the family, and 5 out of 9 people can’t hear or speak.
