While some of us are still struggling to find our way around Twitter, there is another social media platform that we might have to get on and get the hang of. With the “Swadeshi social network” site Tooter creating a buzz online, ‘Made In India’ believers have found a homegrown alternative to Twitter.

The website which looks a lot like its rival in terms of the UI and UX, it comes with a conch shell logo as opposed to Twitter’s birdie. Now while the app itself has made people curious, others are intrigued by the website’s claim that it has been created to support 'free speech'. Tooter also says that all efforts will be made to ensure that the platform "does not punish users for exercising their god-given right to speak freely." 

Well, only time will tell if that comes to pass, but if there’s one thing that people have found interesting is the fact that some of India’s biggest celebs and public figures already seem to have their accounts on Tooter and here are the ones you can follow right now.
