Our country and the world, in general, has been battling against COVID-19 for months now and some people have even lost their lives to the virus. And that makes it more appalling when people think it’s a scam. Now, Varun Dhawan has confirmed that he too has tested positive for COVID-19.

The actor was shooting for his next Jug Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh when he contracted the virus. He has now shared an update about the same on Instagram. It’s not just an update but a message that many people have been ignoring.

He wrote, “VITAMIN FRIENDS. So as I returned to work in the pandemic era, I have contracted covid-19. All precautions were taken by the production but still, nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time. thank u.”

We hope people do take this seriously and not ignore their symptoms at any cost because it’s not just about your life but others too are at risk.

Not just Varun, his senior co-star Neetu Kapoor and Jug Jugg Jeeyo director Raj Mehta have also tested positive for the virus. The other cast members Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani have tested negative.
