Sonu Sood has proved in the last few months that he has a heart of gold and while we think twice before helping someone he has been doing incredible work for the needy. He was also awarded the SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in September for the work that he did after the lockdown was lifted.

Even after getting enough recognition and blessings from the people, he hasn’t stopped helping mankind. Now reportedly, Sonu Sood has mortgaged eight of his properties in Juhu which includes six flats and two shops for raising funds to help the poor.

According to a report by MoneyControl, Sonu Sood has mortgaged several properties in Mumbai to raise Rs 10 crore to help the needy.

These properties are owned by Sonu Sood and his wife Sonali and have been mortgaged with Standard Chartered Bank. Reportedly, the agreement was signed in September and registered on November 24.

In an interview with PTI, Sonu Sood expressed how working with the migrants was a life-changing experience for him. He said, “The whole experience was a life-changing experience...living with the migrants for sixteen to eighteen hours a day and sharing the pain. When I go to see them off as they begin their journey back home, my heart is filled with joy and relief.”
