In an unfortunate incident, two men shot a roadside Dhaba owner in the leg after a heated argument over being served ‘cold chapatis’.
Yes, you heard that right. For a reason as minuscule as this, a man lost his cool and tried to take the life of another person.
What Really Happened?According to a Times Of India report, the victim identified as Awadesh Yadav, told the police that two young men came to his roadside eatery outlet near a bus station in Etah, Uttar Pradesh.
They ordered their food and after it was served, they raised issues over the apparently cold chapatis that were served to them.
The conversation between the owner and the customers soon escalated into a heated argument following which the man was shot in the leg.
The incident, as per the police, took place at around 11:30 pm.
SSP Sunil Kumar stated that an FIR has been lodged against the two accused men and strict action will be taken against them.

Police reached the hotel as soon as they got information about the incident and nabbed the two young men, identified as Amit Chauhan and Kaustubh Mishra, and arrested them with their licensed pistol.
They have been booked under Sections 307 (attempt to murder), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 386 (extortion by putting a person in fear of death or grievous hurt).
The hotel owner was rushed to the district hospital where the bullet from his thigh was removed. As of now, he is out of danger and soon, will be in a stable condition.
Goes without saying that this was a purely barbaric move by the two young men, who took such a step over something which was so insignificant.
It reminded us of the Jessica Lal case wherein the accused Manu Sharma insisted on drinks even though the party was over.
When Jessica refused to serve him, he fired two shots. The first hit the ceiling and the second hit Jessica on her forehead. She was shot dead in front of many who were witnesses in cold blood.
One can't help but wonder how can people be capable of such callousness.
