The head coach of the Indian cricket team, Ravi Shastri had a detailed press conference session with the media members after India earned a dominating victory against the Australians at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Shastri spoke about skipper Ajinkya Rahane’s brilliance as a strategist, compared Rahane’s nature to that of Virat Kohli, shed some light on the chances of Rohit Sharma making his series debut in Sydney and even called the victory “one of the greatest comebacks” in the history of Indian cricket.

However, fans couldn’t help but call out the former Indian skipper for not being as available to media queries and fans when the Men in Blue were struggling and had just recorded the lowest Test total in the history of the country.

Where you were when India bundled out for 36? A coach should face the media in both good and bad days. Shashtri is seen only when India wins. Pathetic leadership from him.

After the defeat Mr. Shastri just disappears. Only after wins he talks to press. I’ve no disrespect for him, he was a wonderful cricketer but as a coach he doesn’t speak. That’s not good.

As always, Ravi Shastri giving press conference when the Indian team wins the match and not when the team was having tough time the whole series.
