Facebook has made a lot of hardware products so far and it looks like smart glasses are next in line. The same has been confirmed by Andrew Bosworth, the company’s vice president of augmented and virtual reality. Well, he didn't give an exact release date but he did mention that they'll be ready in 2021.
The smart glasses are said to be made in partnership with the Luxottica Group, Ray-Ban’s parent company. All that's fine, but we've learned that the glasses will not support augmented reality.
