‘BC Chup Hoja’ Rishabh Pant’s Constant Chatter From Behind The Stumps Is Irritating Everyone

Test 3 of the Border Gavaskar Trophy at the Sydney Cricket Ground is quickly becoming Rishabh Pant’s worst nightmare on the first day of the contest itself.

Having dropped Australian opener Will Pucovski on two occasions early in his batting innings, Pant allowed the debutant enough opportunities on the crease to complete his half century before India’s very own debutant Navdeep Saini trapped him for an LBW appeal.

Indian fans were already trolling the 23-year-old keeper for not being able to glove those catches but as the day progresses, many are starting to get irritated by his constant chatter from behind the stumps.

From endless ‘come on Ash’ chants to trying to have a quick conversation with his teammates on the field, Pant’s voice is endlessly being picked up the stump mics.

Rishabh Pant is still shouting Come on Ash, come on Ash.
Meanwhile, Ashwin must be like chup ho jaa bkl.

The tables are quickly turning against Rishabh Pant who was a national favourite to join the team after his “angry” century during the practice match against the Australia A team in the same SGC.

The common outcry is that regardless of Pant’s batting abilities, he is not fit enough to be the wicket-keeper of the team and that maybe the Men in Blue should consider playing a much more seasoned wicket-keeper in Wriddhiman Saha instead of him in the upcoming Gabba Test match.
