In another bizarre episode of this happens only in India, a groom skipped his own wedding and left everyone hanging at the venue.

What happened next was shocking for everyone- the bride married one of the guests that were present at the ceremony. This incident happened at a village in Tarikere taluk, Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka.

According to a report published by the Bangalore Mirror, the groom named Naveen skipped his own wedding after his girlfriend threatened him with drinking poison in front of his guests and ruining the wedding. Naveen got scared of the threat and decided to skip his own marriage to see his girlfriend.

This step by Naveen disappointed everyone including the bride-to-be who was looking forward to getting married. As the bride-to-be was inconsolable, her family members decided to find a groom among the guests and surprisingly they found a suitable boy who agreed to marry Sidhu.

A guest named Chandrappa who was observing the whole fiasco agreed to tie the knot with Sidhu and both family members happily agreed and blessed the couple.

According to the report, everything was just fine a day before the wedding as both Naveen and Sidhu enjoyed their pre-wedding rituals. Meanwhile, Naveen’s brother also tied the knot at the same venue.
