Rihanna - singer, actor, multiple Grammy winner, owner of one of the most successful makeup brands in the world. What hasn't this woman done? Well, for one, politics but if Republic Bharat is to be believed, she has been a neta in India all along, even though she's not even from here.
With just one tweet last evening, Rihanna became the biggest celebrity in India right now. That is power right there. The entire country is talking about her, be it negative or positive, Diljit Dosanjh put out a song for 'Barbados Diye Sohniye Kudiye' in just a few short hours, Kangana Ranaut started a one-sided fight with her.
In short, a lot has happened since this tweet right here.
why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest https://t.co/obmIlXhK9S

So many news channels are working overtime to try and discredit Rihanna any way they can even though she hasn't said a single problematic thing, and in doing so, looks like Republic Bharat took way too much creative freedom.
A screenshot from their news segment on Rihanna is going viral because of the ridiculous claims they made. Calling Rihanna Congress's neta, Republic is making everyone laugh and cry at the same time.
Is this meant as a jibe at Congress or are they seriously calling her that? I'm hoping for the former one, please let it be the former one because I really don't want to live in a country where news channels are saying absolutely batshit crazy stuff.
Another explanation could be that Arnab finally got the drugs he so desperately wanted months ago. Better late than never, I guess.
Republic TV
People are obviously having way too much fun with this screenshot, actually, most people can't believe it's real.
