From Refugee to Breathe: Into The Shadows, Abhishek Bachchan has come a long way. While people have liked some of his characters like that of Guru, he has also been the subject of ridicule and hate for certain career choices. Abhishek recently shared his new look from his upcoming film, Dasvi, where the actor is seen donning the garb of Indian politician.

The movie is touted to be a political comedy, which marks the directorial debut of Tushar Jalota. The film has been produced by Dinesh Vijan, and will reportedly deliver a message about the importance of education in today's times.

According to an earlier report in Pinkvilla, he will play the role of 10th standard fail Chief Minister. "The film is unlike any political film made in Bollywood as the narrative is entangled with a lot of humor (sic)," a source told the publication.

The source added, "All through the lockdown, Abhishek has been in constant touch with Tushar and Dinoo (Vijan), to discuss this film and it's finally all set to go on the floors from February 22. It's a script close to Abhishek's heart and he is looking forward to getting into the tale that chronicles the journey of a corrupt politician.”

Besides Dasvi, Abhishek Bachchan will also be seen in crime-thriller Bob Biswas, a spin-off to the 2012 Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani, and Kookie Gulati-directed The Big Bull, where the actor will be seen playing infamous stockbroker Harshad Mehta.
