If you have been following Ajaz Khan, you surely would have an idea that he has always been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. Ajaz has now become a synonym for controversies. From posting objectionable videos to possessing drugs, he has been controversy's favourite child, and this time around, he has yet again landed in troubled waters. The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested the Bollywood actor and former Bigg Boss contestant in connection with the drugs case, a senior NCB official said on Wednesday.

A day prior to his arrest, he was detained by the agency after conducting raids at two locations in Mumbai. According to an NDTV report, he was taken into custody from the city airport upon his arrival from Rajasthan. 

The NCB said it had found alprazolam tablets from his residence during searches in the city’s Andheri locality. Ajaz’s name also popped up in connection to the syndicate run by peddler Shadab Farooque Shaikh alias Shadab Batata who was arrested last week.

However, Ajaz had his own version to narrate when reporters questioned him on his arrest. He claimed that investigators had only found four sleeping pills in his house. “My wife has suffered a miscarriage and is using these pills as antidepressants,” he said.

After his arrest, people also bashed the actor and said it’s good that NCB arrested him. People are not okay with the fact that he is being addressed as an actor.

It's not the first time that he has been trending for all the wrong reasons. A while back, he was in news for spreading hate, using religion as a weapon, on his social media platforms. Khar police had booked him under sections 153A (Promoting enmity between different groups), 121 (Waging, or attempting to wage war, or abetting waging of war, against the Government of India), 117 (Abetting commission of an offense by the public or by more than ten persons), 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 501 (Printing or engraving matter known to be defamatory), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 505(2) (Statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred or ill will between classes) of the Indian Penal Code.

In 2018, he was sent in custody for allegedly possessing eight tablets of ecstasy, a banned drug. Back then, he had denied all the allegations.

There are more such incidents where he has been the problem creator.
