Kolkata Man's Unique Way To Buy Sweets Amid Lockdown Makes People Say ‘He Deserves His Misthi’

Amid the lockdown, we have witnessed several funny incidents that have left people chuckling.

While the current situation demands us to stay at home and only step out for essentials, some people still end up flouting COVID-19 rules, as they consider their 'cravings' to be essentials.

A perfect example of that would be a recent incident that completely swept Desi Twitter.

This incident happened at Chandranagar, where a middle-aged Bengali man came up with a master plan to buy sweets during the lockdown.

In the clip, we can see the man walking from a distance, wearing a yellow T-shirt. Soon after, the traffic police standing there stops him, considering the lockdown situation.

The man came closer to the cop and in a very unique way took out the sign from the back of his neck that read 'Mishti Kinte Jachi' in Bengali, which means going to buy sweets.

After this funny incident, the police allowed him to go ahead. Looks like he had his priorities sorted!

Meanwhile, lockdown has been enforced in most parts of India. In West Bengal though, some relief has been given, considering how much they love sweets. The sweet shops are allowed to remain open from 10:00 am to 5 pm in the state. This is truly good news for the people of Bengal.

The video has now garnered more than 28,000 views on Twitter.
