Parineeti Admits To Having Done ‘Bad Films’ & We Wonder Which One She Is Talking About

Parineeti Chopra has been making headlines for quite some time now, especially with her latest projects.

She ventured into Bollywood with Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl and showcased her immaculate acting skills in other projects, including Ishaqzaade, Golmaal Again etc.

In a decade, she has established her place in the industry after giving a streak of hits and misses in her career.

In a recent interview, Parineeti spoke about doing some scenes half-heartedly that were not convincing.

She told the tabloid, "Yeah, many scenes in many films in the last five years. I was very unhappy with the work I was doing. I had faith in myself, but the filmmakers just wouldn't offer me the parts I was yearning for. I was signing films half-heartedly. I was in a constant state of dissatisfaction."

She also added, "I will be forever indebted to three directors--Amol Gupte (Saina), Dibakar Banerjee (Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar), and Ribhu Dasgupta (The Girl On The Train).”

When asked if the filmmaker would make any amendments to the scene, she replied, "Had that happened, the films would have turned out to be better. There hasn't been a two-way relationship with the makers, and so, there have been many occasions where I knew it was a bad film and went home unhappy."

Parineeti also revealed that she did movies for good work and not money.

She said, "Thankfully, I get paid well, and I will never do a film for the wrong reasons. Now, my message to filmmakers is: Please watch my last three films and offer me the roles I would love to do."

In one instance, she also went to the producer to return the advance amount, as she didn't want to be a part of the firm.

On the work front, after her three massive hits on OTT platforms, Parineeti will be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor.
