There was a meme post doing the rounds on social media over the weekend, which read ‘We went from no hospital beds in May to no hotel rooms in Manali in two months’.

Manali has been the top trending travel destination right now and the reason is that the state government has relaxed lockdown curbs and allowed people to enter without an RT-PCR report.
The step was taken for the ease of travel, not tourism.
However, the streets of Manali are jam-packed with tourists right now who could actually be responsible for inviting the third wave in India sooner than expected.

However, we recommend you get tested after your travel and follow safety precautions, still.
Or better yet, stay home, get fully vaccinated and let this pandemic end?
