Ayushmann Khurrana Gives It Back To Haters Who Trolled Him For Writing An Autobiography

Ayushmann Khurrana has come a long way in the industry and continues to enthral the audience with his films.

He is not the typical or conventional hero as it is with every movie, and we get to see something new when he explores the territories untouched or less explored.

From Vicky Donor to Badhaai Ho, Ayushmann has proved that he believes in stories and concepts.

He recently appeared in Arbaaz Khan‘s show Pinch 2 wherein the host read out mean and offensive tweets to his guest, and he reacted to it.

When Arbaaz asked that if it’s good to stereotype actors, Ayushmann said, “Every actor has a staple zone. Tiger’s staple zone is action. Mine is doing slice-of-life films. Every film can’t be different, maybe one film I can do differently. If you keep trying something different, you’ll get exhausted. People are not looking for a different story, but a different you. No need to be so self-obsessed.”

Here’s the full episode:

Arbaaz pointed out the fact that how haters trolled him for writing an autobiography, Cracking the Code: My Journey in Bollywood, which came out in 2015, at a young age and also bashed him for his average writing.

On this, he said, “After my first film, I starred in three back-to-back flops. People had written me off, and I was ready to move back to Chandigarh. I was going through a phase where I had time on my hands to write a book, so I wrote it."

He continued, "But now I'm at a stage where I don't have time to write a book, and work is also going well. Nothing was working out at that time. I had to do something to make it work. I had a band, named Ayushmann Bhava; I used to do concerts. I thought even if my films don't work, I could sing at birthdays, I'd dance, I'd entertain people somehow, I'd write a book. I was thinking of all the things I could do if my films don't work. You just need to make it work somehow, that's an artist's job."

On what ‘pinches’ him about social media, Ayushmann replied, “When someone says something against the family. Work is subjective. You have the right to like and dislike a character or a film, but it pinches when someone comments on the family.”

Ayushmann has surely answered all his trolls and now, they can probably rest in peace.
