Liger stars Vijay and Ananya Pandey, and it is being jointly helmed by Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur and Apoorva Mehta.  

The team released an official update which stated, "We are proud to announce that, for the first time on Indian screens, the man who created history, unbeatable icon, one and only legend the great Mike Tyson is on board for the prestigious and crazy pan India project Liger (Saala Crossbreed)."

Liger is Vijay’s Bollywood debut and by the looks of it, a grand one. 

The team has not revealed much about Mike’s role but since it’s a hardcore sports action movie, it is understood what he’ll be doing. 

However, looking at the posters and video announcement, it is being speculated that a Rowdy vs Tyson match can be possible or a face-off between the two, which means it will be an aesthetic feast for the eyes of all viewers. 

The crew is currently shooting in Goa.
