‘No Special Treatment’: Here Is How Aryan Khan Has Been Spending His Days In Jail

It all started with one of the most hyped techno festivals on a cruise in Mumbai, Namascray,  which ended up in one of the biggest controversies for the Khan family, after starkid Aryan Khan was held on charges of possession of drugs.

This happened after the Narcotics Control Bureau conducted a drug bust on the ship and superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested as one of the main suspects.

While many thought that owing to his father’s influence and status in the city, Aryan Khan would soon be seen getting free of charges and heading home, none of that transpired.

Instead, his starkid status may just be acting against him, as his bail was denied on Friday and was sent to be quarantined at the Arthur Road Jail along with others accused with him.

Unlike popular opinion, which assumed Aryan Khan to be getting special treatment or extra privilege on account of being Shah Rukh Khan’s son, his days at the jail have just been like that of any other inmate.

This after the court reassured that Aryan Khan ‘will be treated like ‘every other under trial prisoner’, reports suggest.

Aryan Khan will not be served any home-cooked meal in the 5 days he will be quarantined at the Arthur Road jail. And his routine has been reduced from sumptuous to subpar.

The starkid is expected to wake up by 6 am every day and have breakfast sharp at 7 am along with other inmates. His other meals that include lunch and dinner, get served at 11 am and 6 pm, respectively. Inmates are allowed to have dinner till 8 pm.

His breakfast in jail includes sheera-poha every morning, while for lunch and dinner, his meal consists of chapati, sabzi, dal and rice.

While most inmates are allowed to roam around after lunch, Aryan Khan and other accused with him are not till the time they complete their 5-day quarantine.

In between meals, if Aryan Khan wishes to consume extra food, the money needs to come through a money order.

As far as his bail is concerned, Aryan Khan’s bail application for the cruise drugs case will now be heard on Wednesday.
