Journalist Drags SRK Into ‘Muslim Superstar’ Controversy & People Are Debating On Twitter
Aryan Khan, the 23-year-old son of actor Shah Rukh Khan, has been in news for over a week now as he has been arrested by the NCB in connection with the possession of drugs at a cruise raid in Mumbai.

SRK has been termed as ‘Muslim superstar’ by a journalist and people are debating over the whole connotation. The senior editor of The Wire, Arfa Khanum Sherwani spoke in favour of SRK and mentioned that Aryan is being targeted but her tweet has created havoc on social media.

Her tweet hasn’t gone down too well with people on Twitter and they are trolling the journalist. The supporters are bashing the journalist for creating this divide and in turn adding to SRK’s issues. People are saying that he should be addressed as an Indian superstar.

In a recent development, the bail application of Aryan in the cruise drugs case will now be heard on Wednesday. Talking about the case, Sameer Wankedhe, Director of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said, “We and the prosecution will make an attempt that the case will go to a logical conclusion. Our case is strong and will present the same in the court.”
On Friday while denying bail to the three accused, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate R M Nerlikar said, “applications rejected. Not maintainable, unless I complete the entire order, I won’t leave the court today.”
Apart from Aryan, his friend Arbaaz Merchantt and another accused, Munmun Dhamecha, were arrested on Saturday by the NCB officials. The NCB alleged that they had seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA (ecstasy) and Rs 1.33 lakh in the raid.
