After Coldplays Iconic Concert In India Indians Ended Up Following The Wrong Chris Martin On Twitter andamp Made Him Popular

All the ‘bewafa’ Sonam Guptas would be crying right now, since in an overnight all the limelight shifted from her to Chris Martin who is not a part of Coldplay. If you know what we are talking about then you possibly belong to group of 500 Indians who followed the wrong Chris Martin on Twitter after his iconic gig at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai on Saturday. Yes, this ‘above average height for a British man’ became super popular in India and on Twitter, thanks to the same name he shares with Coldplay’s singer-songwriter.

To the 500 Indian followers I gained in the last day I'm not in Coldplay. I'm sure Chris was great in Mumbai but I can't pass on the message

Well, he definitely could not have ignored this sudden popularity and love he was getting from India, so he decided to cash on it and took to twitter to share his delight.

What’s more, he even changed his bio on the leading social website:

“NOT IN COLDPLAY. Currently HUGE in India. Above average height for a British man. Podcast carlandchrispodcast.com. Instagram chrismcomedy Okay Bye.’’

Well, we agree people could confuse both their names, but how can you guys mix up the images of the two? Anyway, this comedian sure knows how to make things turn his way and took this opportunity to ask Sachin Tendulkar for tickets for the next cricket test match.

.@ChrisMcomedy let's take advantage: can any of my new Indian followers hook me up with tickets to the next cricket test match please??

.@ChrisMcomedy Hi @sachin_rt as we're now great mates and I've got loads of new Indian fans.
You got any tickets for the next test going?

— Chris Martin (@ChrisMcomedy) November 20, 2016

Even we are waiting for his ‘mate’ Sachin to comment on his request.

Talking about his new found fame in India, how can he not promote what he’s good at?

Might as well cash in on this

New Indian followers if I do a comedy show in India will any of you come?

So, guys would you like to see him perform (not sing) in India?

Twitter indeed is a fantastic platform if you want to have a good laugh!
